Your Path to a Full SST Card
Under Local Law 196, beginners can start working immediately with a Temporary SST Card while completing the full 40-hour requirement.
Temporary SST Card (10 Hours – OSHA)
Complete 10 hours of OSHA training and receive your Temporary SST Card. Allows you to legally work on qualifying NYC job sites right away.
Valid for up to 6 months while completing remaining 30 hours.
Full SST Card (Remaining 30 Hours)
Complete the additional 30 hours within six months of your Temporary Card to earn your permanent Full SST Card — valid for 5 years.
Must be completed within 6 months of Temporary Card issue.

Full SST Card Unlocked
Complete all components and Fast Track TLG syncs your certification directly to DOB Training Connect. Your Worker Wallet activates immediately.
Upgrade Track (If You Already Have OSHA 10)
If you already completed OSHA 10, you only need 30 additional hours to get your full SST card.
